Foodies dine countywide at Taste of Somerset

Somerset County certainly has its fair share of foodies – and they came out in flocks to check out all that the local culinary world has to offer at the 25th annual Taste of Somerset.

Held at the Palace at Somerset Park in the Somerset section of Franklin on Monday, May 22 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., the event benefited benefits the PeopleCare Center, a 33-year-old Bridgewater-based non-profit organization which provides a physical plant to house non-profit agencies and organizations at below-market cost.

As one of the state’s largest, most well-known, and most eagerly awaited tasting events of the year, Taste of Somerset hosted more than 40 of the area’s top restaurant, food establishments and beverage purveyors as well as the opportunity to support the community in a fun and festive setting.

Some of the restaurants included Drewby’s Grill Pub in Manville, the Bernards Inn in Bernardsville, Seasons 52 in Bridgewater, Sophie’s Bistro in Somerset, Heavenly Sweets in Hillsborough, Wolfgang’s Steakhouse in Somerville, Uproot Restaurant in Warren, Verve American Bar, Lounge & Bistro in Somerville, Buffalo Wild Wings in Bridgewater, Gary’s Wine & Marketplace in Bernardsville and Hillsborough, Bridgewater Bakery, Savor Restaurant in Somerville, and Sol Mexican Cantina in Branchburg and many more.
